Completing Orders
When the work on an order is finished, mark the order complete.
Before Completing
Before marking an order complete, ensure:
- All documents processed - Nothing is left in the Processing section of the Documents tab
- All reviews cleared - No document is still waiting on split, classification, extraction, or validation review
- Documents correctly filed - Anything that does not belong to the order has been excluded
Marking Complete
To complete an order:
- Open the Order Detail page
- Click the Mark Complete button on the right of the reference strip
- The Mark Order Complete? dialog appears, warning that the order will be locked
- Click Mark Complete in the dialog to confirm
The button is enabled only when the order is In Progress and the system is not mid-processing. When it is disabled, hovering it explains why — see Order Status.
After Completion
Once completed:
- The order status changes to Complete
- The order becomes read-only
- No further changes can be made to the documents
- The order remains visible in the dashboard with its completed status
Completed Order Access
You can still:
- View order details
- View documents
- Export the order, and print the Exam Documents list
You cannot:
- Upload new documents
- Edit extracted data
- Change order information
Reopening Orders
If you need to make changes to a completed order, use the Help & Feedback link to request assistance. Completed orders are locked so that a finished order stays a faithful record of what was decided.
