Orders are the core unit of work in Platted. Each order represents a title examination for a specific property.

Order Workflow

A typical order follows this workflow:

1. Create - Enter order and property information
2. Upload - Add documents from the title plant or from your own files
3. Process - System extracts data from the documents
4. Review - Confirm the extracted data in the Documents tab
5. Complete - Mark the order complete

Order Components

Each order contains:

• Order Information - Order number, dates, examiner assignment
• Property Information - Address, county, legal description
• Party Information - Buyers and sellers
• Documents - Title documents and supporting documents
